Learning Log
In second class, I have learnt
about beliefs and teaching methods. So
each method is different style. Teacher asks me about meaning, approaches
and teaching strategies of these
methods. My friends present about Belief,
Task based learning and Project based learning.
The first, Belief is important for
teacher. It will help teachers for understanding their students what they want
to learn. There are three areas important. There are (1) about language learning,
(2) about learners, and (3) about themselves as language teachers. Language teachers have discipline to beliefs.
Teachers understand learners and find ways for teach learners to understand the content.
The second, Task Based Learning is teaching
and learning through the activities or tasks. It is the communicative approach.
This method will help student to practice their abilities; listening, speaking,
reading and writing.
There are
three essential conditions for second and foreign language learning:
(1) Learners need regular exposure to the target
language in meaningful communicative contexts.
(2) Learners need frequent opportunity for the
active use of the target language in communicative situations. They must learn
to produce comprehensible output.
(3) Learners need a strong motivation for
language learning.
It may help, however, if the instruction is
well timed in form and content to help a learner take the next step in her/his
language acquisition process.
The last, Project based learning is
focused on student-centered learning.
Project-based learning emphasizes learning activities that are
long-term. This method learner cans operation real for study of information,
survey, research and experiment. It helps student for understanding in concept
of their project or their topic. Teachers are motivated, advice and consulting
to students.
To sum up, there are three important methods
for English teacher. My friends presented three methods. I think in the future
they are important for me. I will use them to teach my students.
